The Retro Video Game Book* Club was founded in August 2026 when three friends who love retro games felt that modern life made it difficult to play video games, new or old. Thus, they made a pact. One person chooses one game to play for one month. We come back here to write and discuss and share with the world.
*This is not a club where we review retro video game books. We're reviewing retro games, but just calling it a retro video game club just didn't have the right feeling to it. This is more akin to a book club, hence the word "book" in the title. Maybe, at some point, we'll expand to retro video game books, or just video game books. But never just books. Gross.**
